This restaurant has the best fried chicken I've ever tasted! The food is very affordable and has amazing quality and huge portion. Service is usually quick and the food is always warm! There was no need for waiting but the place is usually crowded during busy times.
Very nice Korean restaurant in Guildford. We arrived there around 2pm and not very busy at that moment, we chose to sitting in outside cause the weather was very nice. We order salmon avocado poke bowl Taste very delicious and refreshing. The salmons are very fresh and delicious, mixing with the hot mayo sauce and it is perfect with the poke bowl! Very recommended for everyone. Spicy and soy sauce fried chicken (regular size) It is enough for 2 people to eat and taste amazing we love it and it is quite spicy if you love spicy food you will like it very much but if you can’t eat spicy you can choose sweet & sour or other favours and they are still good too. Seafood soups with tofu (with rice) Not many seafoods inside, basically you can see many tofu inside the soup and with some kimchi inside. A bit spicy but it is totally fine and delicious. All items with a reasonable price range and really recommend it! Definitely will come visit again.
So happy to discovered this small Korean restaurant hidden in an alley in the Guildford town centre. I’m a big fan of Korean foods and I’ve visited South Korean five times, so it’s great to find authentic Korean foods while I can not visit South Korea at the moment. I had the KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) with half spicy(It’s sweet and mild spicy) and half original, also seafood pancakes. They all taste really delicious. I can’t wait to come back again. Plus, the staff is very friendly, providing good customer service. I would recommend anyone who fancy some authentic Korean foods in Guildford.
Really great place for Korean food. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented. And the staff were very friendly. We loved the honey soya boneless fried chicken - it had a great flavour and texture and the meat was very tender and juicy. We also loved the kimchi pancakes. The salmon teriyaki was also very good, the salmon was tender and good quality. We will definitely come back here when visiting Guildford again and would recommend this place to anyone
Firstly, the food is very delicious and affordable. Their food makes you full enough and having similar prices like Zizzi or any meals in town on average. It is delicious because it is similar to the Korean theme and as expected. Therefore I would put five because it is delicious and affordable. Secondly, the service is very nice as well. The staff are normally helping people. I still remember that one of the staff forgot to put avocado in so he gave us a bowl of avocado. Moreover, before the meal , the staff will clean the table which is a good service. Therefore , I would agree that the service is very friendly. Thirdly, the atmosphere overall is cosy. I like that there is air conditioning, which provides a cooling place when it is in summer. Moreover , there is some Korean music which matches the Korean themes which is a thing that I like. For me , it is a nice place to go to.Therefore , the atmosphere is cosy.
I can't say that this place has a super atmospheric atmosphere, but they definitely make very tasty poke bowls with salmon. The portion is large, not overloaded with rice and a lot of tasty salmon. This is the first dish that I tried here and I definitely want to come back to try something else.
What a lunch we had. Authentic delicious Korean food. We need Hanki all around the country, please. :D Visited the place since we were in the area, and the reviews were very promising. Even though it is located in a narrow street just off the high street, it was all full. Luckily, we did get a seat after a short wait. The staff were very greeting and attentive. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive either. We had rice cake, spicy pork on rice, beef gimbap and half-half fried chicken (sweet chilli and sweet soy). The portions were very generous. The two of us could only handle half of everything and got the rest to take with us. Chicken was the best I've ever had. Mouthwatering coating and soft and juicy inside. Spicy pork was full of flavour, very tender, and easy for me to eat even though I usually can't tolerate spicy food. Gimbap had a very good balance of beef, sweet fried eggs, and veggies. Did feel like I needed some soy sauce to dip it in, though, and once asked, the staff were happy to provide some in no time. Lastly, rice cake was spicy as well but not overly spicy. Had a pleasant flavour of gochujang going through the sauce, which is always a perfect flavour for rice cake. The place has no toilets, and there is a good explanation for it (being a takeaway place only and starting business during the pandemic). I do hope they will manage to extend the space, get more seating areas, and accommodate customers with bathroom facilities. Until then, please start providing us with some citrusy wet wipes, especially when ordering fried chicken. It is finger lickingly tasty, but I still would love to clean/wash my hands after enjoying the chicken. :)
I went with my sixthform friends for lunch in town in which I recommended Hanki. It was a memorable experience and we enjoyed the food. The food was delicious, hot and affordable for us! And they were able to cater towards my allergies and my friends who are both halal. Service was good, the waiter or front person was very polite. They also accept cash. Atmosphere very clean, love the Korean kpop music although not many seats available.
